Help
I have a '64 chevy dump truck (C60 or C80) and the clutch has no resistance and does not work. Low on fluid? More serious problems? It has a 327 motor and it runs great. The truck sat for a couple of years.

THanks to any one out there that can help.
Dan from Minnesota

WEll, check the fluid level in the Master if it is a Hydraulic clutch, Then, bleed the system if you have none or have to add a bunch. Master should be on firewall, next to the brake unit, and slave is way down on side of b/house by clutch arm. Don't be suprised if the slave cylinder is collapsed and rusted tight and won't move. Replace if so. Good auto stores have picture books with cast numbers and models listed along with picture of unit to find correct one. I paid about $75 for my last one, not cheap, but no kits to rebuild or not rebuildable if they are rusted tight. I sandblasted mine, it still never moved again!
