Best help someone could give is to advise you to not tow that combo with a 1/2 ton truck until there a bunch of experience under your belt. A 4x makes a poorer choice for towing than a 2X. The truck on the trailer probably weighs more than your rated capacity on the 1/2t, plus you have to add the trailer weight. When towing a truck on a trailer the large amount of weight(engine) away from the centerline of the axles gives more momentum to promote swaying. Stabilizer bars would be a tremendous help. If your's is a short bed truck that makes it worse. Big tires, worse yet. The closer you are to the ground(and not get too low) and the longer wheelbase on the tow rig the better. Be careful bud, freind of mine did the same thing, made the mistake of taking the freeway and made it 5.5 miles before totaling the both trucks and trailer.
