what chassis would fit my 1951 chevy 3100 body ,was thinking about taking the body off and transfering to another late model truck,,,what are the pros and cons of this idea?

If you got enough tools and time, can make anything fit, but, check wheelbase first, keep the wheels centered in the existing wheel wells, or it will look strange. Have seen a few of these done using a 70s suburban chassis, needs shortened just a little. blazer chassis is too short.
