I was ask to go up state and get a 1960 B model started by a friend. I know it needs batteries and I want to pick them up before I go. Can anyone tell me what batteries it will take? Thanks in advanced

Are you talking about a B model GMC? Or a B model Mack or what here?

I have a 1965 Mack B-model,diesel and it has 4 6 volts hooked in series. You could probably get by with 2-12 volts hooked in series as well. It might be Positive ground which a lot of older trucks were.
