Does anyone know what a 1961 Apache 10 might be worth? It runs great (many new parts), but needs much interior work, and a windshield + paint, very little rust (it's from AZ). TIA for any info! |

| | the name jim and 1961 must be a common project. ive seen a list that basically said 1961 chevy c-10 completely restored was about $6700.00 not very comforting ! will tell ya that im completely restoring my 1961 stepside . my biggest problem has been finding out the correct motor. it has a straight 6 (235) in it but the motor mounts dont line up. i beleive it came with a v-8 283, but i have,nt found the right soarce yet. any help would be appreciated thanks jimmy |

| hey I have a 60 step side is it worth the same, oh well nice truck anyways, has a 235 too but putting in a 327, which means lots of mods, the 235 has only a front mount, no side mounts, does a 283 have a front mount, some guy wants to trade my 6 for the 8 ??????? |

| the value of any truck really depends on how much sentimental value you put into it, or how bad someone wants the truck.ive already invested over 11000.00 in my truck and its still in peices and i dont have a motor or transmission. i would say the 1960 has a little more book value, but not much. once you get the right parts for the motor(modified engine mounts) and modified transnission cross member the rest of your problems sould be relatively easy. if you dont get those two right your v-8 will tear itself out of the frame. on the engine trade if you have the original motor thats like throwing away a gold bar . but thats a choice you have to make. good luck to your restoration. hope you post some photos jimmy |
