I am getting ready to do a master cylinder and wheel cylinder(s) replacement. Napa has the parts. I am wondering if the rear wheels have two brake cylinders per wheel ? Napa parts book shows only one per wheel. Any one know for sure ? Thanks (in advance) for your response. |

| My '50 F-6 has only one. Should be very similar to your F-5 brake system, except that the F-6 has a vacuum booster. |

| Big Fred, Thanks! Thats what we were suspecting, one cylinder per wheel will make the work a little easier. I ordered the parts today. Doing all the lines, master cyl and wheel cyl's. Wish me well, everything looks like its the origional stuff, for instance? the bolts on the master are so rusted the threads are no longer visiable. :) It's a great work-horse of a truck though, and I'm sure it will outlive me.again, thanks for your quick response! |
