I stepped on the dimmer switch for the headlights and the lights went out. What could be the problem. The fuses look good, could it be the light switch?

Does anyone know what year Chevy truck front disc brake sets would be interchangable with a 1970 C10? I was wondering if I could pick up something from the bone yard from the middle/late 70's or early 80's that would fit. Conversion kits are so expensive. I already have power brakes.

Thanks.

1970 Chevrolet Truck Model C-50. Need an under the hood wiring harness. Connecting lights, etc. extends from battery, thru the voltage regulator to the "block" fastened to firewall. (drivers sided) Truck does not have air conditioning, does have voltage regulator.

When the dimmer switches wear bad inside they do this and some times hang also.
