My truck is titled as a 1949, but from what I have seen '49 has the gas tank in the cab behind the seat. I wonder if anyone can confirm that any '49's had the tank under the bed? I would love to get a real date on this thing.I have a link to a photo, not that it will help. But you can see the junker. I am guessing the title does not match the truck but I was told the truck was in the same family since new. Not that people don't lie to sell trucks. Any ideas? |

| | Chevy changed their trucks in mid 1949. I have a late 1949 and understand from catalogs that a great way to tell early and mid year to late is by the headliner.
