i just got a semi restored 48 3600 step side and was wondering whats up with the shocks it dosent have normal tube shocks it has a chamber setup like on the 33-40s cars i want to rebuild them but i dont know if the kit will work also i wondered if it added to the value of the truck as it stands its all original 216 4 speed and 3/4 suspension and runs like a champ
also i traded a 69 camaro 1/2 restored for this truck do you think it was a good deal

Hi don, the shocks are known as lever action and were used through '49, rebuild kits can be got I think at old chevy trucks.com or try amirican classic, classic parts. No connection with any.
