The Number on the firewall near the coil is the body number, the number on the door jam is called the Serial Number, this is the same as on the Out Of State title. I have a 1968 Dodge 400 (1 1/4 ton) truck that DOES NOT have a V.I.N. only a body number which is what is on the title. My 1964 1200 IH is the same way. Kent   [Reply]  [Send Email]
