would loke to change front wheel bearings to roller style and to 5 bolt hubs can anyone tell me if there are any late model hubs that interchange. Also I need help with the serial # my truck has no letters in it to tell me what it is 1/2 or 3/4 ton the hood had Chevrolet 1300 did not sound right to me tidle say 1953.

The link is Jim Carter's "old chevy trucks", on page four he list small changes that wil help tell which year you have. Trucks in Canada had different model numbers. HTH

I have a 57 Chev pu in the yard as we speak,the chrome badges on the front fenders read 1300. Its pictured in Truck Photos on the page if you want to look.Dan in Alberta

Are you sure it is a 1300 and not a 3100 --- according to this links there is no such thing as a 1300 in an AD truck------- http://www.stovebolt.com/techtips/series.htm
