I was given this truck to keep it from the scrapyard or worse-- the cruncher. My truck is a fleetside bed, but it has steps cut into the side of the bed between the wheels and cab. I know I have seen this before, but have had problems finding out if this is a dealer modification, a factory option or just a convenient aftermarket accessory? Does anyone know where I might find this info if they don't know the answer off the top of thier head?

bill, These steps were aftermarket opitions added later. Done in your shop, driveway, or garage. J.C.Whitney had these in their catlogues for years. I havent seen one in a long time, they may still carry something like that still. Hope this helps.
Later,
John A.
