I need a refresher, it's been a while since I messed with this stuff. What hooks to the positive and negative sides of the coil? One wire to distributor, one to condensor. Does the other one come from the 'on' side of the ignition switch? Thanks
James

If the battery is connected (+) ground:

Ign. switch to coil (-), coil (+) to points/condensor.

If the battery is connected (-) ground:

Ign. switch to coil (+), coil (-) to points/condensor.

If this is a 12-Volt system, you must have a true 12-Volt coil, OR use a ballast resistor (MAY be built into the wiring) ahead of the coil.
