Just bought a 1960 F600. Was wondering what motor it has. It has a cross over pipe across the front of the motor like the 292. Is that what they put in them? What would the points be set at? Thanks

it could be a 292 or it could be one of the other Y blocks..Ford also made a 302 Y block for some of the trucks, not sure if it was ever put in a F-600....no it's not the 302 as used in cars and pick ups... set the points at .015 ....
