I have a chance to buy a 1951 Chevy Pick-up 1 ton completely retored. The owner says it is really a 1951 & a half because of the wing vent windows. It has a Rebuilt 350 w/ 4 bolt main, Rebuilt factory heads, 400 turbo auto transmission Stainless steel grill among other stainless items,Cast Iron Manafold. It sounds awsome! I took a picture of it, email me if you would like to see it. I need to know asap how much it is worth & is anyone buying thses trucks? The owner says he is giving me a great deal, but would like to know that from someone else too. I would appreicate it!

Thank you! Loriremax2000@aol.com

Those trucks have appreciated as of late. In CT area seen them go for 10-16 thousand dollars depending on condition. Someone just bought one for $8500 so the market is slowing. I like the bone stock ones, Juniper Green to be exact, and restored complete models run about $15k. Good luck. Those advance design trucks are a part of Americana.
