Does anyone know where a person can get replacement 1 piece rims to replace the 2 piece rims that no one wants to work on anymore.

You're in good company looking for replacement rims of this size. There are a lot of guys in the same boat. Your 5 bolt x 8 inch circle rims were used by Ford, IH, Studebaker, Dodge motorhomes, and no doubt many others for a lot of years. Both Budd and Accuride made one piece tubeless rims with this bolt pattern up into the late 70s or early 80s, but to my understanding no one makes them today. They were made in 19.5 and 22.5 sizes. The best sources I know of for used wheels are Stockton Wheel in CA, and Chuck's Trucks in CT. You can Google their names for their respective web sites. Good luck. Stu

There are other alternatives to the two piece "Widow Makers", as the old Ford two piece rims are referred to. As Stu mentioned, there are one piece rims out there, I have a set of 19.5 on my '48 F-4. I got them off of a trashed RV with a Dodge chassis.

Another alternative is another type of multipart rim, the kind with a snap ring on the outside. Although the snap ring type are dangerous to do yourself many big truck shops still work on these. This type of rim is still in use on modern trucks. These rims came on many different trucks. I found a nice set on a '47 COE chassis. I took the chassis to the tire shop to make sure the rims were still useable before I wasted time blasting and painting them. The tire guy told me they were in deed still very useable and he would have no problem working on them.

Don't know what make model or size you are asking about. I have a 16.5 x 6 with eight hole pattern, fits a Chev 1 ton. they are also available in 16 inch.

I dont know about where to go to replace them but I would gladly take the old 2 pice rims off your hands as long as they happen to fit a ford F-5

My 1959 Ford truck is a F-500 with 20" 2 piece rims with 5 bolt holes. I will not get rid of the rims till I have replacements that are 1 piece rims.
