I own a 1950's dodge pick-up & I am having a hard time trying to figure out exactly what year it is. For years we thought it was a '52, but after seeing pics of others it is obviously not. Has the same cab, grill & box, but has the larger rear fenders. Also the ser. number & model number do not match anything I have found. The truck is all original, paint, motor etc. right down to the seat. The truck was built in Windsor Ontario. Serial # is 90107786 model #DH1-08. In my search this model number does not exsist. Any help would be greatly appreiciated. THANX |

| It probably is a "late" '53 which has those "Ford" looking rear fenders. It is actually a '54 fender, but was used late '53 until '85, the last year you could order a "Uteline" (stepside) box from the factory. This is the way it went in Canada. Also see my comments in the link below. |

| | A model DH1 is a 1953. It is a 1/2 ton with a 108" wheel base. That is what the 08 means. The serial number range for 1953 is 90103501-90108719. Hope this helps! Tim |

| I would guess you're having difficulties because it's Canadian...Canadian production often had minor differences and their own set of model and serial designations. If nothing definite turns up here try dodgetrucks.org; if they don't have Canadian info they'll know who does. Good luck. |
