I recently bought a 1952 F1 Ford pickup that needs brake fluid. What should I use so that I don"t ruin the seals?

As Ericlb says, regular DOT 3 fluid. This fluid has a tendency to absorb moisture from the air, which is why owner's manuals recommend the brake fluid be changed every year or so. Yeah, like we all do it. Anyway, bleed the entire system until you get clean fluid out of each bleeder. What hurts the seals is the rust that builds up in the cylinders.
