Can any one tell me what the gear ratio is in a 58 3/4 ton rear end and will it fit in a 53 3/4 ton pickup

most of the late '50's chevys had 4;11 rear end ratios, there were exceptions though, as for if it will fit in the '53, you'll need to measure overall width and compare the spring mount locations ect as well as how the driveshaft hooks up, if i remember right a '53 had a touque tube driveline and by '58 they had a open driveline that will pose a problem
