According to Motors Truck Repair Manual, Ford Standard Trucks: 1960 Ford 292: Plugs BTF-6, Plug gap .030, Point gap .015, Timing mark 6 degrees BTDC, Valve seat angle 45 degrees, Valve clearance .019 hot intake and exhaust, Valve spring installed height 1 25/32.
Distributor Specs.: Cam angle degrees 26-28, Breaker arm spring tension 17-20, Centrifugal advance degrees @ RPM of distributor Advance starts 1@700 Full advance 10@1800,(two barrel carb.)
