I am installing a 350 small block in my 54 chevy. Does anyone know the dimension from the front of the fram to the center of the new crossmember? |

| | There are several manufacturers who make parts for this. How important is it to have home-made parts in your vehicle? http://www.jcwhitney.com/TD-PERFORMANCE-MOTOR-SWAP-MOUNTS/GP_2011229_N_111+10201+600001709_10101.jcw http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CHEVY-V8-TO-49-54-CHEVY-MOUNT-KIT_W0QQitemZ260443895359QQcmdZViewItem http://rndperformance.com/i-366503-tsd-4196-chevy-v8-to-49-54-chevy-mount-kit.html |

| I've already bought the crossmember and I am working with the frame only as the body is being painted. I am trying to find someone who has used the crossmember and determined how far back the crossmember is to be mounted. |

| I guess I"m lost, I have a 55 1st series which is the same as the 54. If your talking the trans member you won"t know till you know where your motor sits which by the way needs to be tucked as far back as you can get it. |
