All good ideas. I think I would also consider gripping the distributor body with a strap wrench to try to turn it, after having given some time for the penetrating oil to work. If I couldn't break the distributor loose with the strap wrench, I would try a pipe wrench, however the pipe wrench would probably mar the distributor body and might even break it off. Good luck!
