You didn't say what year, but those in the '50s did have a 1/8 inch plug to the left of the pipe that comes out of the cab. If the tank is not in the cab, just look at the bottom. If it has a drain it will likely have a 1/4 inch square drive 1/8 inch pipe thread plug sticking right out where you can see it.

Remove the sending unit and drop a hose in that way you could do it the old siphon hose way but I use a electric fuel pump

I forgot to add - if you need parts, I can highly recommend: truckandcarshop.com. I just finished a total restoration of a '57 2-ton cab over. I used mostly their parts because the price is good, customer service excellent, quality excellent, and the have a great catalog and web site.
