1946 Chevrolet 1/2ton panel truck in poor condition. I want to put it on a chassis with disc brakes and 4wd.

I've seen one or two conversions of that nature. I think they used an S-10 4X4 chassis.

That's exactly what I found too, just yesterday. I found a couple of sites where the guy used an S-10 frame with discs, but it made no mention of 4x4. That was my idea and I am getting really excited about it, especially since the original frame will need substantial welding anyway. I also didn't realize the S-10's came as a 4x4 option. I'll dig deeper. Thanks!
