| Eric typed too fast: it's aths (Am'cn Truck Hist Soc); they've a nice forum at aths.org, and altho it's heavily into later stuff, with a Lyc you're probably going to be looking everywhere. Check the forums at oldihc.org; there's a couple threads there going on now re' Lyc KB and CT, if I remember correctly--IH used several Lyc's in the late 20's etc. I don't recall if they mention any parts sources but other owners may be helpful. Have you ID's your engine model?? Binderbooks.com is supposed to have reprints of manuals for everything IH produced (they don't, but they've got most); if IH used your engine, they might have a manual. Lyc is still in the Aircraft engine line but postings have said they have no parts for old vehicle engines; seems like one post did say someone there was helpful with serial # info, but I may be wrong. Haven't noticed any comments re' whether the usual obsolete engine suppliers have Lyc parts or not, but asking's free. Is there a Republic club or group?? Good luck. |

| your best bet may be to put a ad in the ahts 'wheels of time' their members seem to have a broad range of stuff and info for rare and unusual trucks, republic was a neat truck and today is a very rare unit, good luck in your search can you post a pic? |
