The seller says the rear brakes need to be "gone through" before it can be driven. I"m trying to find info on what brakes it has and how much this truck might weigh to I can decide whether to try an on-site fix or trailer it to a mechanic. Any info would be appreciated, especially if there"s a site out there with specs for this truck. Thanks. [Reply]  [Send Email]

A parts list would be nice, but I've had someone suggest converting it to air brakes with a belt driven compressor... not sure what's the best way to go. If you want a copy of the original build sheet for your truck, contact the Mack Trucks Historical Museum, 997 Postal Road, Allentown Pa 18109. There is no charge, but a donation to the museum would be a good idea. They have a busy bunch of volunteers, so it takes a while, but they will send you a fantastic amount of information on your truck, including almost every part #. Good luck.
