need help identifying these tags off a 77 f150 4x4
front tag: ED D7TA ANA
603808 9 3 50

rear tag: WFE-E2 7CC
3L50 9 389E

these markes where found on the front axle housing
447F
C35832
is this a dana 44?

I don't bother keeping all the codes, but there are a couple things I know. On the front tag, D7TA is the code for a '77 Truck axle. The 350 is the ratio. On a 150 it should be a Dana 44.

The rear code tells you the 3L50 is a limited slip 3.50 ratio and the 9 means it's a Ford 9" rear housing. Rest of the numbers are production code.

The link will give you a lot of 9" info.
