look for a vent in the system seems like it is trying to vent and pushing out the seal.the plug where you fill it should have a hole in it.fill the system with the body up and when it comes down it will push out the excess

Thanks Russ,
An old boy that is pretty familiar with this type of system kinda said the same thing. He said in the past he just drilled a 3/16" hole through the pipe plug and put a cotter pin in it. I was going to try that, them I saw a vented 3/8" pipe plug on ebay for 5 bucks so I splurged and ordered it today. I wonder if it had something like this originally? Thanks for the suggestion.
