I ran an IH 200 (3/4 ton) 4 X 4 pickup with a 4-53 for many years. Great torque, great economy, noisy, but fun. You might get a 6V-53 or even an 8V-53 under a pickup hood and on a pickup front suspension, but a 6V-92 is very wide, long and terribly heavy.
