You could replace it with a Stromberg 97 or a Ford 94 (which is the same carb), probably can"t replace it with a single barrel without an adapter. You"d have better luck with a modern 2-barrel and an adapter to convert from the 3-bolt flange to a modern 4 bolt flange. Possibly have to replace the oil bath air cleaner with a lower profile modern paper element for hood clearance, and because the oil bath won"t fit the modern carbs.
