no real problem to change, just a lot of work,keep all the hydroboost parts ,and depending on what radiator you have you may have to add an aux. oil cooler. I would keep everything until the conversion is done. Contrary to what you may hear there is nothing wrong with 6.2 and nonturbo 6.5 engines. No they won,t pull a 10,000 pound trailer across the mountains at 80 mph but they will get the job done. They are a poor mans diesel as they are easy to work on,parts are affordable.no @#$% computers and costly electronic crap to screw up. If you don"t abuse them and keep up the maintenance a 6,2 will last a long time. Just remember diesel and gas engines are totally different animals don"t expect them to run and act the same
