There is no one answer to your value question. It is at least worth its weight in scrap, less hauling costs. Work your offer up from there. If you are a practical guy trying to calculate purchase price, repair costs, and resale value, forget old trucks. Make an offer you are comfortable with, expect to spend way more than you figured on to fix it up, and don"t expect anyone will pay you what you think it"s worth when you are done. In the interest of preserving old trucks like you describe, I generally pay between $500 and $800.
