Hi All, i'm new to diesels to start off with. I have a cummins 855, cpl 840 with a pt pump problem. The aneroid screw ( the one just above throttle shaft with allen screw and lock nut) is popping out when throttling. The threads are stripped, the aluminum was in the screw threads. Has anyone else run into this? I think i'm going the helix coil route. I have temporarily put a strap across it to move around. What am i going to encounter when taking this off for repair? Looking for any kind of advice, thanks.
