thanks steve that helps, i also didnt know Mack bought Brockway that far back, i thought it was 1973 or 4, i guess thats when they started using the 'mack' cab on Brockway trucks instead if the Brockway cabs, i was thinking about the driver cab due to the beltline on the Brockways doors which looks similar to that on the driver cab, no telling how long that basic cab was used all over the industry, i drove a ;97 western star heavy haul truck which had the cab on it, parked it near a dead '69 white which externally had the same cab on it, im sure the old whites interior wasnt near as nice as the western star's but no telling, time had sort of removed the whites interior, sad to see the brockway go, the few i was around always seemed like pretty stout and well made trucks
