Going to need to drop my tank as it has developed a leak somewhere. It is dripping gas from a few spots from the shield. I wish there was a way to remove the shield without dropping the tank but it dosen't appear you can. Has anyone installed a tank and left the plastic shield off. It seems it's just something to hold dirt and water and rust the tank.
Thank you,
Bill
