I have a Meyers plow on my 1990 K1500. The main assembly is mounted into the frame horns and hung down from there. I'm wondering what years that might be some what easy to switch this plow assembly over to. My current vehicle has a 4.3L v6 an 5 speed manual. I'd like to switch over to an automatic and possibly even a short bed versus a long bed. From what I have gathered some manual list 1988 to 1998. If this is correct would my plow setup likely fit any of these years.

88-98 Chevy and GMC trucks, 1500-3500 series are GMT-400 trucks and basically all the same.
