Hey fellows. This truck is similar in size to a 5 ton and I wonder what the parts availability would be for the V8 engine which runs on gas and propane, the manual shift transmission, the transfer case and the front and rear differentials. And the steering. I noticed the name Spicer casted into the front drivers brake drum. Spicer I know supplies driveline parts for 1/2 ton to 1 ton trucks. The front differential is those closed knuckles. My local Napa dealer was able to get me rebuild kits for the front wheel cylinders. If any of you have an international truck of this size and of similar year how has it been tracking down Parts? Im sure you can get a water pump for the engine, and ujoints for the drive line. How about a new or good used front gear set or rear gear set? The transmission is a big heavy behemoth and Im sure it would be fune to drop out of the truck if it was acting up.
