Ford power windowsPosted by K.B. on April 21, 2004 at 19:26:58 from (209.163.43.11):
This isn't exactly a truck question but I'm sure someone can help. My brother just bought a '92 Crown Victoria. I noticed that the driver's power window would not go down, but I could hear the window motor working. I removed the inner door panel, and found a Vise-Grip clamped to the window track, holding the window up. The window motor seems to have a cable coming out of it that must attach to the window to move it? It was disconnected, and upon operating the window switch, to cable only moves half an inch. Am I on the right track here?
