Hydro boosts pretty much the same?

Have a 69 tilt-cab GMC with hydro unit. Think it's stuck, brakes won't bleed down past it. I pulled another unint off a GMC 82 or so, with dual chambers on it. I see it is marked IH, not GM or other. SO, Zat mean, any brand will work? Do I have to watch the bore size? Will two vac chambers make a diff on using brakes? The IH one appears to be bigger diameter, so thinking it's not gonna be a good choice. The lines all seem to hook-up near the same places, so just wondering how specific I had to be to get another one??
