1969 GMC 5500 brake problem

A friend and I are rebuilding his 1969 GMC 5500 dump truck and we've run into an embarrassing problem: he took off some sort of brake slave cylinder under the cab, massive thing, and dropped it off to be rebuilt. Now we can't figure out how it get it back on. I didn't see it in place before he removed it, but I'm fairly sure the one he got back is another rebuilt unit as things don't match up quite right. Trouble is, the manuals we have don't show this cylinder or how it's installed.
Does anyone out there have a manual showing this, or have one of these beasts? If we could get a scan of the page, or a photo of the unit it would help immensely.
