Not all 5spds are overdrive, as mentioned. If model number doesn't end in VO, not OD. V is 1:1 ratio 5th. AND, these were used in bigger trucks, and usually had a larger input shaft diam, and longer, which required the deeep bellhousing used on bigger trucks, with mount ears on them. Not sure you could get all this under your floor or truck w/out major hacking. Yes, both have granny low's in them. Be happy with what you got, ain't worth the messing with, for little improvement in my mind. OR, buy a diff truck with stuff on it you like already!
