How to bleed my Toro-flow Diesel?

69, DH478 V-6 Diesel. I ran out of fuel and it quit. I have replace the leaking tank and am ready to try to restart. I plan on putting feul in the first filter on frame, which I am changing now too. The book is vague on procedure. Something about a bleeder screw/plug on the secondary filter up by engine and pump. BUT, that mean I remove and just crank engine? I see no manual pumps, or bleeder valves mentioned for any other place. I'm hoping I won't have to remove any injector lines or something?? Is it just gonna pick up fuel and go? or is it much more than that?
