Ummmm! Take it you are younger fella? Bigger trucks all have Vacumm/Hydraulic brakes or air brakes. Vac type uses a regular Master cylinder, with usually ONE line only going down to a "booster" unit with another cylinder and a vacumm canister on it, sometimes two. Then there is another hard line out of it, and to tees to go to front and back brakes. The vacumm for unit comes off a check valve tee Usually up on firewall or other places if tilt-cab and that gets source from intake, not exhaust manifold! This is usually a large rubber hose, about 1" OD. There is also a second hose with filter on it's end, sometimes behind seat in cab, or behind grill/bumper area in tilt-cabs. You need to find if you have a Ford, GMC, or IH or whatever brand truck, the size/model of it, and get a manual for it. All this info is in the manuals, with pictures. The vac unit is called "hydro-vac" and if your's is bad, you can't repair, has to be sent out to rebuild, even though manuals show how to repair. Parts aren't available for most of them, specially Midland brand. They won't sell you parts, but will rebuild yours.
