serial plate would be on the right side , in the area above running board,near bottom rear corner of hood. a c30 has a flat head six,, a c35 has an over head valve six.check out old ihc trucks,,,http://www.oldihc.org/Rogue_Seven_Oh_Two/html/index.php has alot of info and pics.
