Welll go my parts truck home,had headlner alright, abbout 4" or more allunder themetal iside. The metal doesm't come out to remove it that Icould see. I cut up the top carfully to get the liner out ans save the top metal for patches!
I got the liner out, but not tooo good of shape, so will just trim down thte venter and mount on a board or just glue back up like it was/wout backing then trim and tuck what edges I can get tucked back into the metal trim.
