I still chuckel a bit when I think about my only experience with one of those. A few years ago I got a 62 chevy tilt cab on trade with a bad transmissiom and other problems, but still looked worth repairing. One big problem was that the 4 ball joints in that torsion bar suspension were very worn. I checked with the local parts place to see if ball joints were still avalible for this truck. The guy said the joints were avalible and would cost $416. I said,yeah,I suspected those joints could be near $100 each. The parts guy said NO,$416 EACH !!!. That settled it,I junked the truck.
