Later years like that may have had power-steering pump run Hydro on firewall, not the vacumm type if not a real big truck. This was usually with Big Block or Diesel cause of little vacumm or none from Diesels. Steering pump has 3 line from it, one to steering box, one to hydro on back of master cyl, and one return. Rebuilds would be easier to find for them. BUT as said, depends on size of truck!
