4X4 transmision swap

I have a 76 chevy heavy half 4x4 with automatic trans that seems to be always giving me trouble (the trans that is). I also have parts I stripped from a 73 GMC 1 ton 2 wheel drive, which includes 4 speed, bell housing, clutch/brake petals etc... What I would like to know can this 4 speed be mated to my transfer case without a lot of hassle?
