I have several of the gmc and chevy half tons, and most of them are the heavy halfs. I replaced the rear springs on one of them , and i asked to go to 3/4 ton springs. The truck shop said thqt i allready had the 3/4 springs under the heavy halfs. I have checked and the heavy halfs have 7 leafs and the others have 5 or 3 leafs. I HOPE THIS HELPS
