do any Ford have this problem

i have a 460 that has this terrible sound when backing up(fingernails on a chalkboard) and starting (grinds)..it doesnt even turn over
it has a new flex-plate,starter,and torque converter. ive changed the flex-plate 3 times with the same results.there's no crankshaft endplay. im lost, i need help!!

funny thing my ranger is doing the same thing with the same new parts ODD!
